Danny Sandoval (66-67) and his wife Shirley are celebrating their 49th Wedding Anniversary on December 31. Congratulations and many more to both of them.


Les Spohr (68-69) sent this info on the Kendall War Memorial Dedication project that 4 boy scouts from his nephew Ken's scout troop participated in this past September. Click here to see photos of that project.


Rex Hon (66-67), in keeping with the Christmas theme, sent along a photo of his "favorite" Army Christmas Breakfast.


Rex Hon (66-67) recently took part in the Annual Wreaths Across America event.

Allen Saltzman (66-67) recently was chosen and honored by VVA Chapter 12 with this beautiful handmade quilt. It was officially presented to him by the ”Quilt of Valor Foundation”. He was told that it can take up to two months to make, and each quilt is different.  Al said he was "truly honored and humbled by this gift and will treasure this quilt and always have a place in my heart for the men of the 1/83rd. 


• Ken Blank (69-70) sent this photo. Ken's Daughter is a VIP For DOW and had Ken's name added to the hood of a DOW sponsored race car. Ken's name is on the bottom left, second column, fourth name from the bottom (it had a red box around it). You may have to zoom in to see it.


• Roger (Koop) Koopman (68-69) recently went on a "Vets Roll" trip to Washington DC. Here are photos of his trip. Click here to read a brochure explaining what Vets Roll is all about.
